Diyet and The Love Soldiers

Diyet is an Indigenous singer-songwriter from the Yukon. She blends alternative country, folk and traditional music with her native Southern Tutchone language and stories. In this trio, Diyet is backed by The Love Soldiers, which includes her husband and collaborator, Rober van Lieshout and Juno Award-winner producer, Bob Hamilton. Diyet’s music is a fusion of big stage and intimate room sounds; capturing her adventurous and chaotic life experiences. She sings in both English and Southern Tutchone and plays bass guitar, creating a unique sound that showcases her Indigenous world view and northern life.
